To freeze the whole cheesecake, wrap it in plastic wrap and then wrap it again in aluminum foil (or place it in an airtight container big enough).

If the cheesecake doesn't look "burnt" after the recommended bake time, turn to broil/grill it for 1 to 2 minutes. But be careful - don't overdo it! hisse close attention - broiling/grilling will darken the cheesecake very quickly!
